What's the impact of Greek Life at Union? Does everyone go to frat parties? Will you feel left out if that isn't your scene?

nope! frats are definitely a major part of the social life here but you definitely do not need to go to frat parties to feel included. I went to a few at the beginning of the year but they get old fast...they're all the same, same music, same set ups.

there are so many things going on that you can easily choose to do other things than go to frats. Ozone House is known for really fun dance parties with great music (not the hip hop crap that they play at frats). minervas throw parties (even though they aren't as popular) and a lot of the theme houses throw fun parties as well as sports teams who hang out together. the frsibee team has a lot of "spirit nights" which are just very laid back parties with a good group of people in an apartment on seward.

so while frats are a major part of the social life by no means will you feel left out if that is not your scene
