can you pledge as a freshman?

when do you first have a chance to pledge?

and if you can pledge as a freshman do you accept your housing on may 26th in a hall then tranfer over to a greek house?

thanks a lot!

(btw-im a girl, science major, mexican american)

bump…please bruins!!

yeah you can pledge as a first year, you rush and pledge during zero week (the week before school starts) and i don’t think any pledges live in the house, i think most wait until 2nd year if they want to move over…

yay ok thanks-i’ll be there for fsp from july 27- sep 14…will this allow me to pledge during zero week?

yes, 0 week is the 20-27th give or take a day or two, the week before 1st week, fsp and summer session c will be over a week before zero week…

ok so during move in times? awesome!! thanks =]

you move in the weekend before zero week (technically you can move in anytime after that but most first years want to move in ASAP :D

woooot! are you in a S or F?

haha nvm just saw your location

huh? oh i had that 2 years ago never bothered to change it, im actually a second year lol but yeah im not in any greek houses but i know a lot of people who are thats all…

oh cool, do they seem to think its worth it?

most girls i know who are in sororities like it, only a couple depledged but they didn’t seem like the typical sorority girl anyway :p

hmm well i guess i’ll check it out, thanks for the insight!
