Greek Question

Let's say you pledge a fraternity at a University one year and end up transferring to another college sometime during your college career. Are you automatically an active member in the same fraternity at a different University?

assuming you were initiated and pay dues at the new school, almost certainly yes. There may be some exceptions, but I highly doubt it as it kind of goes against the spirit of almost any national fraternity.

For my fraternity you have to be voted in by the active members of the chapter of the new university. Usually if you’re cool, we’ll vote you in…but there have been some ******bags who we didn’t want

Nothing says lifetime commitment like not being accepted by the chapter at your new school. What fraternity are you in if I may ask Mr. Bojangles?
