<p>Only about 17% of the students are in the "greek" system. (about 1 out of 6). They throw most of the big parties, but other than that are really not much of an impact on the school. (They also do some public service activities)</p>
<p>Thanks so much for your response. From what I've been able to gather in searching around, seems IU has alot going on beyond the greek system (which imo is a good thing and nothing against the greek system).</p>
<p>You'll hear this a lot. The greek system isn't for everyone. And you don't need to be involved in it to party, especially at a school like IUB.</p>
