Does having green card and not a citizenship bring disadvantages in terms of financial aid? What if the income is lower than 60k ? I'm so confused! Please help :)

Should be the same. I rec’d generous FA offers and was only a Green Card holder.

If you have a green card, but you’re not a citizen yet, then I believe you would be considered a permanent resident. In that case, you would receive the same FA as a citizen. As far as I know, you would not be at a disadvantage.

If you have a green card, you are a legal permanent resident, and you are eligible for federally determined (FAFSA) financial aid. There are a few private scholarships that are specifically for US citizens. You aren’t eligible for those.

Thank you =)
