<p>I've been trying to upload my greencard on Commonapp for probably the third week now. It's a pdf file, and is 73 KB. Commonapp accepts pdf files and anything below 500 KB. Does anyone else have this problem???</p>
<p>Uploading pdfs does not generally take very long. Be sure the filename ends in .pdf. You might need to scan again and save as a new file.</p>
<p>Well I’ve already checked that it ends in .pdf and I’ve scanned it twice already and saved it as a new file and it’s still taking quite some time :/</p>

<p>the issue is possibly that you are saving the pdf directly from word or whatever application you are using. convert your original file to a pdf using a program like adobe acrobat etc. or you can search on google for pdf converters.</p>
<p>Yoloyo… is correct. You cannot save it as a pdf; you need to convert it to a pdf and then upload it. Others on CA’s FB page are reporting this same problem. Someone posted that pdf’s to be uploaded only work if you convert the file to pdf.</p>
