Gregg Shorthand... ***?

Hmmm... Gregg Shorthand looks interesting... but is it worth it?

http://gregg.angelfishy.net/jrgstry1.gif <--- a pic of a story written in the shorthand.

Apparently you can write stuff (notes) @ 200 wpm using this shorthand... (and you can make people think that you write in a secret code) :)

So... is it worth it?

Does it require a lot of memorizing?

It looks really interesting, but you obviously can’t write that fast if you aren’t fluent.

EDIT: I just did some research. It seems that it would take a while to get used to and I don’t have any teachers that give lectures. But I still want to try learning. haha. It looks so cool.

The alphabet in shorthand: [Alphabet - Gregg Shorthand](http://gregg.angelfishy.net/analphbt.shtml)

Look at the lessons lol. This looks ridiculously complicated. But I’m sure that it would save a lot of time if you were fluent.

It’d take a lot of time/practice and your teachers might think you’re doodling…

But it does look useful. If you had a fast talking teacher you could use shorthand to write down everything, and then transcribe it later if you find it easier to read longhand. You’d have more notes/details than everyone else.
