GREs

Does anybody know whether there's a way to find out what the range of GRE scores is for a given grad program at a given institution, the way there is for SATs and undergrads?

Some schools include the information on the Web site for that particular graduate school program, not necessarily in table form but somewhere in the descriptive material. There is probably a better way to find out GRE scores for lots of programs at once, but I don't know what that is.

My impression is that this is extremely hard to come by and that there is no systematic compilation. I say this because in my own field I've been a graduate director for some years and only know the mean scores for about a dozen other departments that are in our "conference."

Thanks for your responses. After I posted, I did find one university -- University of Washington -- that posts extensive statistics on its website, including average GRE for those denied and accepted to specific programs. Wish more did this!
