Grey's Anatomy vs House

I don't watch either! Jeopardy is my addiction and it's been ongoing since I was really little.

House ftw 10 char

I watched a couple episodes of GA, but I've liked House a lot more and so I watch it regularly.

um. scrubs.

Grey's Anatomy is amazing!

Its funny, I actually caught most of the first episode of GA that i've ever seen. I was flipping through channels and it looked interesting, then about 15min later I realized it was Grey's, and went "ahh, so this is why people watch it!". Good show, it definently caught my attention.
However, I say the same about House: you can come into any episode and know whats going on and instantly realize the characteristics of each character, which I love. I only know so much about the Grey's characters simply because everyone talks about it. However, I think House is a bit more humerous, sometimes in darker ways, and is overall more interesting. Sort of ER-ish, in the sense you can instantly click with the show.
In my opinion, I like House better. But GA seems like it too could win after tonight.
However, ER still dominates all. That too was on tonight, and even though i'm not a huge fan of the direction its going in now, I still like it a bit better. The best are the re-runs of the john carter, carrie weaver, doug ross, mark green, and benton days...TNT 10am-12pm every day =)

House is fantastic!!!!

What's up with people using the word religiously?? "I used to watch House religiously."

???

I'm not sure if my theory is right but I get the feeling that most people that watch Grey's Anatomy are females and most watching House are males. How about everyone post whether they are female or male along with the show they like between these two?

Btw to the previous poster: when someone says they are watchign a show religiously it means they can't go without missing any episode (usually new) coming on that week.

um. scrubs.

yeah scrubs owns both of them

^ scrubs is a good show...but umm...no

And since I said that I like House already, I will add that I am a female. I like intellectual shows and if I want to watch a soap opera, I'll stick with General Hospital. :-P

oh, no, in our house the ladies love HOUSE...he is just a MAN....Greys Ananotomy is like medical soap Opera

We also watched Dexter...

shoebox, I can't believe you bothered to watch ER last night. Grey's was AMAZING (with the exception of Mer's dream/limbo sequence at the very end, which was hiddeously out-of-place and time). I've been an ER fan since I was very small, but, hell County General could have blown up last night and it still wouldn't have been anywhere close to as great an episode as Grey's, and if it was I was to wired from Grey's to care!

Grey's is officially my new all-time favorite show and, for the most part, I only watch ER out of loyalty. I watched the first 12 years, might as well see it through to the end :).

House pwns Grey's Anatomy.

Overall, Scrubs > House >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Grey's Anatomy.

Hugh Laurie = <3<3

House is more popular with guys here, and GA is more popular with girls. I don't know any guys that watch GA, but there are girls that watch House. The two shows just have different dynamics. House focuses much more on the medical aspects, with slight emphasis on the emotional/relationship part, while GA does the opposite. Girls like the relationship stuff without the ickiness of detailed medical stuff, while guys usually like the reverse.

do you think we like House because it makes us feel intellectual?

From what the girls tell me, House is also really hot.

I like the relationships on house, they are complicated and grown up- loyal yet honest...and everyone is realllly smart- the tensions are very interesting between the characters-

and my Ds think House is hot

also, the character Reid in Criminal Minds,

I think it is the idea of not being a perfect speciman, but having a quirky, interesting, character is better than just the surface look
