The email my son received said the Why Grinnell? essay was being offered to “all of our applicants” – so presumably everyone got it. Not sure if it is new this year or not, but I presume the reason is to further distinguish applications. My son got a nearly identical email from Denison, also yesterday. He’s not too happy about two more essays after he thought he was done!
It doesn’t look like Grinnell posted anything about decisions on social media last March. I couldn’t find a “today’s the day” post, or even an after-the-fact “congrats” message……
Tomorrow, Friday, is shown on Collegekickstart.com (link below) as the date for decision notification. That changed in the past 2-3 hours as this morning it did not show a date. Has anyone received an email or other notice from Grinnell?
