Grinnell RD Class of 2020!!!

Waitlisted with perfect GPA in IB diploma, 730 M 800 CR SAT. Kinda pissed but not too upset because I got full tuition in merit at MHC & Denison & got into Cornell ILR so their loss lol

Yeah I’m feeling like I reached way too far out of my grasp

rejected,Congrats to those accepted…On to my next wait! :((

Accepted with $200k President’s Scholarship!

(I didn’t even know decisions were coming out today and just happened to check this thread. Wow.)

Wow, I got accepted!! I am speechless. I am an international that needed quite a bit of finaid (and I can actually afford it!!). First acceptance after 3 waitlists and 2 rejections lol. Feels good <3 And @LikeThis congrats!! that’s for 4 years though, right?

@erroneous45 Thank you- congrats to you, too! Yes, the President’s is for 4 years, $50k a year.

3rd rejection here. Well, getting used to that.

Rejected. Congrats to those who were admitted!

Accepted!

Accepted! 12k merit scholarship and 30k grant. Congrats to those admitted!

Rejected. ACT 35, As/Bs for grades. Fantastic interview, recommendation from a professor. How???

@phoria - I know it must be terrible, maybe they just thought you would not enroll? Have you completed the ‘‘Why Grinnell?’’ essay for instance? Because they might have thought that you weren’t very interested? In any case, March Madness is far from over so you never know what amazing acceptances you’ll receive.

Daughter accepted with $25k merit!

rejected

@erroneous45 wrote the why grinnell essay within two days of it being sent out with heartfelt love of the school

Congratulations to all who were accepted!

I am so sorry for those who were not. If you’ve read any of the other decision threads, this seems like a particularly tough year for those in the class of 2016. So many have been, and are right now, where you are. Hope you have several other schools where you will be happy and have an amazing 4 years.

Waitlisted. At least better than a rejection. Congrats to the accepted!

accepted!! almost $37k in scholarships/grants, but out of 5 schools so far they’re the 2nd most expensive.

These grants some of you are getting are need based and not repayable, right?

Any internationals get aid… I got none :frowning:
