Usually music in another language so I don't get distracted. However, to study for my Spanish AP/SATII exams, I downloaded a ton of (Spanish) Shakira, Juanes, Ricky Martin, etc. songs to completely immerse myself in the language :P.

anything with a beat or that i can identify as music...mozart, beethoven, shostakovich (sp), billy joel, gwen stefani, 50 cent, even punjabi stuff. anything works for me! anything!

Hehe..I get distracted easily as well. For just leisure though I try to listen to French music since I'm taking AP French next year..but there are barely even any nice French songs that have clear articulation..:(

I once asked this french guy what sort of french music is nice..he said: Hm..I'm not sure. French music isn't that great..in fact, french kids listen to english music because it's cooler.
