Hi I’m a student who’s going to be living off campus this year and was wondering how much everyone spend on groceries every week? My parents plan on giving me $150 just for groceries along with additional spending money and an allowance. Will $150 a week be enough to spend on groceries in Bloomington?
Yes that’s plenty. Double what I spend and I don’t think I hold back too much.
Yes. That’s over $21 per day, or $7 a meal. If you ate at a fast food place for every meal, you could get by on that much. Groceries are obviously cheaper than fast food
Yeah–more than enough for groceries and meals out. I probably don’t spend that much for my husband and myself combined during a week.
