the totally necessary myspace

I actually get more of a kick out of fake myspaces.... so cruel, but so funny.
It's getting so many kids at my school in trouble. hysterical. same with you?

How are you getting them in trouble?

I'm not getting anyone in trouble. But everyone is making fake myspaces of teachers and other students. Again, very witty - too witty for some very sensitive individuals.

Myspace is incredibly gay. I lose respect for anyone who has one.

^^^ I concur.

myspace is whack... i have seen too many good people become addicted... it's so sad

Yes, a once good friend of mine has myspace. And now he hangs out with fags. Such sad end to a good friendship.

The faculty at my school have MySpaces. And the students didn't make them.

^^ lol...ahhahhahah.....i hate how people make myspaces about celebrities and people actually respond to them and say "oh you look so beautiful in so and so movie".... "i love you, your the best actor/actress in the world".....or the famous "oh i loved in your recently so and so movie"....its like helllooooooooooo....these are fake....if you type one for a celebrity, like 80 million of them come out

We had a sexual predator / MySpace lecture from my homeroom teacher yesterday during homeroom:

Teacher: I completely understand that you all use MySpace for the fun of it, but you have to be careful. I mean, I have a MySpace ----
Student 1: YOU DO?!
Teacher: Yeah - Olivia, you've seen it, right?
Olivia: Guys, her MySpace is SO ugly. It needs some layout work.

lol @ olivia

forty something girls got kidnapped for being pathetic idiots and putting their addresses on their myspaces.

YES! teachers at my school have myspaces. it's sick, perverse. And the pictures everyone posts of themselves...

I just hate myspace. It's like, thanks for willingly and so eagerly publicizing your personal lives. We really care.

Agreed. Some people don't realize how public it is. I guess some don't care.

This girl at my school has the most obscene pictures ever, it's practically pornography. I almost can't believe she made those public and I wonder if her mother knows about them. I can't imagine ever posting essentially nude pictures of myself online- that's just so wrong.

Yea I can relate..Such attention whores.

Lol around here at the schools they print up kids my spaces and send them to the parents. Some kids in my brothers class have my spaces and these kids are 11 and 12 years old. I just think the whole idea is too sketchy.

Was originally a dating service I heard. I guess "Tom" thought it would be better as just a blog thing.

It's banned at our school too, b/c of the obscenity in MySpaces...Just like playing cards are b/c too many gamble.

MySpace is used too much as a network tool to keep the many cliques active in school alive. It works far too well, and has done a first class job of ballooning the rumor mill that was already well-established prior to 2005.

last week some sophmore from my school made a fake myspace of one of his enemys and posted all this crap about him. the parents of the kid (not the kid who made the myspace) found out and brought it up to the principal and the other kid got suspended for one week.
