Congrats!! I didn't apply to Groton, but it seems like a great school.

i think this is code

here is going.
i applied as a day
student, but i got
rejected. : /

i got in but undecided between sps and sgs and deerfield

Congratulations, Imnop. Must be a relief to have made the decision. We felt the same way this weekend when, after all the revisits, our D had a clear preference.... She will be going to Groton also. As parents, we are thrilled with her decision.

Our S has decided to go to Groton. He felt so happy this morning with the decision behind him.

saddad - your son had some great choices. Congrats on your decision! Just curious as to what were the key factors that made Groton his/your final choice?

creative1-We loved all 3 of the schools we were serious about. My S didn't connect at St. Andrew's with the students the way he did at Groton and St. Paul's. Choosing between the last 2 was tough. We finally decided that SPS at the moment is a little too loosely structured for our comfort. We also thought that Groton seemed more hands on on the parenting front. SPS seemed more focused on the educating, which it does very well. We just don't think ninth-graders are ready for a quasi-college experience. I'm sure some are; ours wasn't. Hope this helps.

so what have you decided wyvern

its down to groton and sps. this is tough...i play football and i found on both of my revisits that both schools will have new coaches. parents are stressing over sps' "freedom with responsibility" thing. i liked the kids at both places and felt comfortable at both. im still going over my check list ...and checking it twice...i feel like santa...trying to find out whose naughty and nice...

and the winner is...GROTON!!!

Congrats on deciding on Groton!! I don't know much about the school, but my hockey team practices there and it seems like a lovely place!

congrats! u made it!

i was rejected... but congrats! I loved it and it is a great school.

I go to groton and I am so happy to hear that so many people are coming next year!!

Why don't you guys put your names under the definite classmates thread?

Thanks for all the congrats. I feel so relieved. Keep the faith those still waiting...I just opened up some room for you on the deerfield, sps, sgs and lawrenceville wait list.
