I know that people are starting threads for each school so I decided to start one about Groton. I am a current student there so if you have any questions feel free to ask :)

I got waitlisted -___- darn.

were you placed on the waitlist or accepted automatically?
I know you can’t answer this perfectly, but do you THINK taking financial aid off help one get off the waitlisting? thanks!

Waitlisted. My last hope is gone.

I got accepted! 8D I’m really excited.

My daughter is accepted 2nd form

for those of you who were waitlisted, its not over yet. I know of cases when people were accepted off the waiting list. The best thing to do is thank your admissions officer in all they have done, and say that you are interested in remaining on the waiting list. You should really do this as Groton is a great school.

Congrats, MDMT! :D

And, like Groton14 said, don’t lose hope if you’re WLed! You still have a chance.

waitlisted too. i got waitlisted at 4 places… i can’t help but wonder if schools WL more applicants than they reject :s

just got accepted, 2nd form. totally unexpected. only school i applied too, crazy, right?

Congratulations, Pip! C:

I loved their acceptance letter. It felt so personal.

YellowUbi, Congrats! Looks like Groton likes readers. Last year BlueRaven got in and she said she is a great reader.

Ifax, You are on several waitlists. I really hope Andover works for you or you really come off the waitlists real fast!

Eh…I got waitlisted for 2nd form. What are the chances of getting in? Really slim right? :(

Accepted for 4th form! (2014…represent.) :)

My daughter was accepted today, and I have to agree, the letter was really personal and well done. Also accepted to St. Paul’s and Miss. Porter’s - waiting to hear from Deerfield (wish they didn’t use snail mail!).

I also thought the acceptance letter was beautifully personalized- I especially liked the big YES!! when you log in so you immediately knew ot was going to be a GREAT letter!!! Congrats to all who were accepted
