Grounded in truth?

Question: How truthful need this college essay be? I'm not saying I'm planning on lying through it, but concerning the personal anecdotes that relate to it. It must be grounded in truth, but what is pushing the limits of a personal essay vs. a fictional work with self-inserts? I'm worried about it, but also want an answer to see how I can work with this essay. Thanks!

There is little fact checking that goes into a personal essay.

That said, don’t outrught lie.

Stretching an essay or blending two events that happened to you, maybe. Tell your story.

Nice post count! I’m not planning on turning myself into a rocket scientist (although no fact checking), Its more based around the blending, and a few fictional “bridges” to help blend stuff together to make a coherent story and experience.

Yeah, that works.

Post count some sort of cool glitch.
