Hello,

I'd like to know you guys' suggestions on how to organize and effectively operate a group of 10-15 fellow students in studying for the ACT. My goal is not to get my classmates to a 36 by any means, as I only have a 32 (Rising Junior. Second time. I don't think that it's too bad.) so far. The people that I am trying to help are the not-so-intelligent athletes, poor test takers, and those who just don't know how the ACT works. I don't WANT to bring in teachers, but I think that if I must, I can arrange for that.

My true question is, what are y'all's suggestions for running it? Break up into small groups? One subject at a time? Lecture? Pre/Post practice test? Required Prep Book? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Hell, if it works after my field-testing, I'll post that do's and dont's so that maybe others can create a similar program! By the way, I want to have 6 meetings MAX....
