<p>Has anyone received any financial aid at GCC, other than loans? I know that federal and state programs are out, but I was wondering if any student received merit aid or need-based through the college?</p>
<p>I didn't think our EFC would warrant a need-based grant, but I applied anyway. GCC came through with a $1300 grant.</p>
<p>Did you choose GCC over Hillsdale? How did their aid compare?</p>
<p>No choice yet, but DS is leaning toward GCC at this point for financial reasons. Hillsdale need-based aid was 100% loans and lots of it.</p>
