Precalc material is not included on the SAT, only on the SAT II Math 2C.

However, it may help you with reasoning out problems because your logic will mature, so to speak.

why don't you just take normal classes during the normal year like a normal person

why do you need precalc during sophomore year anyway

it's meant to be a senior class but is more practically a junior class in most schools

I know guys that took Pre-Calc in freshmen year at my school so they could take all the AP maths.

And I was gonna summer school Pre-Calc but I figured that since I'll be taking the SAT/MathIIC I should just take the class so it's fresh in my mind.

What is pre-calc like compared to Calcus AB?

um precalc is SOOOOO MUCH HARDER than Calc AB at my school. I thought precalc was really difficult, but I thought that Calc was one of the easiest math classes I've ever taken. This could just be that my teacher was really hard.

swim, it's just about the same at my school. People complain about all the stupid busy work in Pre-Calc here, whereas many people consider Calc AB to be one of the easier math classes (that is, for smart people).

I took precalc as an 8th grader, its no big deal, and its very helpful for the sat iic and even for the sat. Id skip it if i were you.

i wouldn't do it in summer school .. my friend had to do it in summer school cuz of band and he, no joke, ALMOST DIED !! he was up til one doing his homework everynight, and he also had to go to his tutor for like, 3 hours after summer school. he barely got an A. don't do it.
