I had a professor not show up for a final exam once. We literally thought he died. (he had cancer). We waited an hour for him to come and he still wasn't there, so we went to our department head and she called his house and he was okay and came right to class for us to take our final... i ended up getting and A in the class, but the professor passed away a few months later.

So Marsha,
Update us please....what happened to your interviewer that led to the no show? How did you go about rescheduling?

I emailed him about it, politely as can be, and have yet to receive a reply. He was only in the area for several days visiting high schools and conducting interviews at those schools (mine not included. which is why I had a separate interview time to begin with)... I assume he's out of the area but I asked if it was possible to meet with someone else.

I suggest calling his office.
Do you know if he made it to any of the interviews in your area? I'm wondering if he has been ill or had an accident.
Perhaps he'd be willing to interview you over the phone.

will i not seem kinda needy or obsessive if i email, and THEN call his office too?

No, you won't seem needy or obsessive. You'll seem like you want to go to that school. Also, if he did have an accident or was called away by an emergency, you can learn that from the office.

Just be sure to sound pleasant and polite, not annoyed when you call.
