Heard this was a good book? Anyone use this to study. IF did how well did you do on the SATS? Plan on buying this.

I never used it personally, though my sister did. She said it wasn’t anything special, and the questions are not very accurate representations of the real thing (except some questions are pretty much copied from the blue book).

Best bet is always the blue book. If you need help on specific sections, PM me and I’ll give you some suggestions.

It’s a good reference book for the math section. I didn’t like the CR and writing sections that much though.

Gruber’s CR and W are awful (W is borderline harmful, imo). M is solid.

Gruber’s, contrary to what everyone will tell you, is useless for scoring in the 700s. It’s only good if you are really bad at a section (i.e. constantly scoring in the 500s or low 600s)

If you take enough practice tests, you will slowly start scoring higher and you’ll never really need a book unless you want to score really really high… books are overrated though. It’s all about building stamina and learning how to take the test.

^^Really, what’s so bad about it? I have access to the CR workbook, although I haven’t even really looked at it. If it’s actually that bad I just won’t use it at all though.

I really like how Gruber’s has the "101 Most Important SAT math questions. I’m assuming that if you know how to do those, you can do very well. Has anyone looked at these who can back me up?
