Gruber's SAT Critical Reading Review?

I've noticed that the Gruber's SAT critical reading section is a lot harder than all of the other SAT prep books (e.g. Princeton Review, Barrons, Sparknotes, Kaplan, etc...)
I was wondering if anybody else noticed that also?
And if anybody has prepped with Gruber's for the SATs, can you tell me if Gruber's is an accurate portrayal of the actual SATs (especially their critical reading section!)

Also, which prep book is the most helpful and most similar to the real SATs?

thanks!

Gruber critical reading isn’t a good book.
Personally, I was able to improve from a 550 to a 700 by simply using the Blue Book

Okay, thanks!
Was Gruber’s critical reading portion (like their reading passages) a bit harder than what the actual SAT reading passages are like?
