GT Application

How's the application (easy/hard, long/short, etc)? We should be getting it in a few weeks so I was just wondering.

Thanks!

It’s short, and you are just repeating all of the information from the regular application.

its easy/short from what i hear. you just have to confirm that you kept your GPA up to what was required and you took the courses you were supposed to take and i think you’re in… hence the ‘guarantee’ . they should have all the other pertinent information on you already from your previous application.

i cant wait to get mine so I feel like the ball is finally rolling

Got my GT application today :).

what is gt?

Guaranteed Transfer…given to those that were not accepted through regular decision, and allows them to transfer to Cornell without the admissions process after usually one year.

In case anyone is curious, here is the application: http://admissions.cornell.edu/downloads/GTTOApplication.pdf

Apparently I can time travel…this post was in reply to sleepingbeauty’s post below mine.

read the post above you…

haha dtop, you should def. write that ability down on the application. I just got mine as well. I’m really excited. I feel like time’s actually moving now.

Ha I actually just saw the new thread for '09 on AEM and got excited.
To be honest I am still on the fence. One day I’m staying, the next Im already in Ithaca.

Haha yay, I just got my email too!
