<p>I think that is the official decision. A bit anticlimactic, but when they say your decision will appear on BuzzPort, that is how you see it. If I remember correctly from D#1’s experience two years ago, some schools change the banner into something cute and some don’t. I would not have expected GeorgiaTech to do anything cute, just saying, I could be wrong. Of course, they will send an “official letter” snail mail but I would not expect an email today. Be happy!</p>

<p>My son’s Buzzport has a tab for Accepted Freshmen and when you click on it there’s a Congratulations You’re a Yellow Jacket graphic and a letter from the Dean of Admission. I think that’s the official notification and we’re thrilled!</p>
<p>Buzzport now opens to an “Accepted Freshman” page.</p>
<p>and the letter of congratulations is from the President (not the Dean of Admission as I had said above). There’s a whole page of accepted freshman info on payments, dates, financial aid, etc.</p>

<p>OMG I’m so ecstatic that I’m finally a Yellow Jacket!!! I actually have that satisfaction of being accepted that I didn’t garner in high school! Congrats to all those who are accepted, and to those whose news was not as joyful, you can only move upwards from here…trust me!</p>
