Trying to decide between Rodman UVA (out of state) vs Georgia Tech(out of state) and Vandy for BME. Any suggestions?

As far as I remember, GT is #2 in BME - so, if you like to be in the ‘best’ program (at least according to ranking), go to GT. (I don’t know how UVA/Vandy are ranked - definitely not in the top 10).

Also, keep in mind that GT is predominantly an ‘engineering’ school, whereas the other two have ‘an engineering dept. attached to their college’ (this impression is quite personal, I’m sure people can/will argue about that).

Cost wise I’d say that GT & UVA are ‘in the same league’ and Vandy probably about 10-15k higher.

My choice would be clear … but you need to take that decision for yourself - visit each campus and decide for yourself. The best (most challenging) program, CLEARLY, is at GT!
