I read somewhere that Georgetown doesn't guarantee housing, whats this all about?

only for three years

It's not that big of a deal...some people do live on campus for all four years.

Oh, alrighty

any 3 years? so if i studied abroad for a year basically my whole time at gtown i could live on campus?

is there any compulsary period of time that you have to stay on campus?

ok, according to my sis who just graduated this year, freshman have to stay on campus unless special circumstances, and then she says that if you studied abroad for a year, then the other three years you would be guarenteed housing, no matter what three years they should be...this info may be outdated though, so if anyone is a current student they might be able to help more

you ahve to stay on campus for your fresh and soph year...but georgetown has apartments and town houses which are on campus, but ar actually outside off the main gates

I don't know about Georgetown, but at most universities in America, you rarely live on campus all four years...most people get an apartment with their friends for their junior or senior year.

Georgetown for the Class of 2010 reduced the housing guarantee from three to TWO years, according to what I heard at GAAP. I'm presuming they've run into an over-admission problem.
