So I have seen a lot of transfer students posting that because of the "florida articulation agreement", they have "guaranteed acceptance to XXX school."

-The Florida Articulation agreement states:

students who receive the Associate of Arts degree from XXX FL community college are GUARANTEED entry into one of Florida's four-year upper division public institution as juniors.

-UF's Minimum Requirements for transfers with A.A's:

*60 credits

*Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA at each institution attended

*Completion of foreign language requirement
(and ofcourse, the specific GPA and pre recs for the specific major you're applying for)

SOOOO...let's say
If you get an A.A from XXX FL community college, have a 2.7 cum GPA, meet all the minimum requirements for the university and your major, and apply to a non- limited access program...where do you stand?

Normally an applicant like this would most likely be denied admission on the spot, but the rumor is that CC transfers get in this way.

I want to know how much power does this "articulation agreement" really have, over getting CC transfers into UF.

Info?
