Guaranteed admission to Pitt dental school

I am a freshman nursing student with guaranteed admission to the graduate nursing program. I've decided nursing is not for me and I'm looking now at dentistry.

Any chance that my guaranteed admission can be transferred to the dental school? I still might the criteria, however, I'm no longer a high school senior.

Also, in order to keep the dental school guarantee, one has to maintain a 3.8 gpa. How difficult is that to do? Getting into dental school requires only a gpa of 3.5 or so.

Should I push for the transfer or leave it alone?

To the best of my knowledge, all grad/professional school guarantees are only made to incoming freshmen. I don’t believe you can change programs mid-stream with any type of guarantee. (Quite frankly, the whole reason for the guarantees are to increase admission yields.)
