Greetings, I am in need of counseling and guidance. I recently found out that Mr Ian Schachner wants a copy of my final transcript of my senior year of high school. To make a long story short, I was missing some work for a class and my grade dropped from a B+ to a C+. My urgent question (preferably from someone who was a GT) is will I lose my transfer option offer because of this grade?

the drop is only in one class?

Yeah, for the most part. Some B+s turned into B’s.

Are you in the class of 2015? If you are, I highly doubt you’ll get your offer rescinded, you don’t even have a college transcript yet. Just send in your high school transcript and you’ll be fine. :)

If it’s only one grade, I wouldn’t obsess over it. I think you’ll be fine.

Besides, there’s nothing you can do about it now anyway.

If it is only one grade, and that grade went from an expected B+ to a C+, then you should have nothing to worry about except if you had to meet strict requirements to transfer, ie. GPA requirements or lower grade requirements etc.

Yeah, don’t stress too much about it.
If you’re GT, anyway, you will take a year at some other college. Do good and show those drops in high school are no reason to worry about your academic future at Cornell.
