<p><em>waves</em> I've sent in the bulk of the apps they wanted already. Any idea when they might give out the decision? Was it May last year?</p>
<p>oh yay! i'm glad there's somebody else! i've sent in everything except the midterm grade report. i asked about the decision date, when I called to see if they'd received the app... the lady said april-may, but that that would be extreme. she said that they look at the gt's first. so i'm hoping april 1. but you never know with this place. </p>

<p>Haha too true... you never quite know. I'm a bit worried whether they'll accept my grades as the current UK college doesn't give out official transcripts so there's very little to go on.</p>

<p>they're given to students who apply as freshmen. Those granted a GT are guaranteed a transfer spot if they maintain a minimum gpa at another school. It's kind of Cornell's way of increasing enrollment since they cannot offer any more housing on north campus for freshmen. </p>
