Hi,
I’m wondering if anyone wants to put a guess as to where I’ll get in/give me some suggestions as to where else I should apply?

ACT 31 (30 not superscored) not my strong point
GPA unweighted: 3.93 weighted 4.45
APS: Calc, spanish, ap lang, bio, us history
Grades: A in all classes(honors and ap) since freshmen year
No class rank

Awards: NHS, Spanish NHS, History NHS, High Honor Roll, Century Club, Japanese-American Peace Scholarship

Activities: Have done 200+ hours community service, 3 sport athlete, Committee head of a volunteer program, President of history nhs, science research in African country, working at law firm, I speak Japanese and Spanish, worked as ESL teacher, gave peace speeches/studied abroad in Japan, ASL club, mock trial(3 years) ranked top of state, interned at a fashion company

Expecting strong recommendations

Middle class, female, white

Not applying binding anywhere, but applying early when possible.

Open to suggestions to where I should apply. Would honestly like to apply to a few more schools but not quite sure where.

Reach - (these guys are all reaches with the act, they won’t super score, and are not just gpa focused but also test score focused - I think you may get one (northeastern?), but not all)

UPenn(have family who went there) - another reach, a little less test score focused still a crap shoot, but my roommate got in with a 29 (did not attend) so possible especially with legacy

UNC Chapel Hill(out of state) - they can be a bit weird with out of state

My view is 4 years old but you need more matches, possibly umiami, smu, or tulane since you like private schools, can say from personal experience SMU will give you good aid. Good luck to you and take with a grain of salt.

Looking for more advice. Update to testing: 32 ACT including a 35 on the math section.

Do forget, Georgetown asks for 3 SATII tests.

You should easily get into American. And you should get into GWU and Chapel Hill. I don’t know much about the other schools on your list though.

Also another school you could look at is William and Mary.
