^i reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy hope ur rite

lol Narcissa - azn pride :D

(shamefully I got around 7 CR wrong...) sigh... retake time.

^why not -1 Math 800?.....stupid italian/german students...grr

Lol Quicksand - that was a tricky one, I spent 10 mins. on that one... no kidding.

OY! I'm an Italian student! Actually no, I'm asian, but I've lived in Italy all my life. So OY!

What if you omitted 4 or 5 math questions, and got the rest right? What would your score be?

Has there ever been an SAT where a -1 on the math section was an 800???

Yes, its happened before. But for today's test? Not a chance.

it's never impossible. lol

I'm going to guess

-1 780
-2 750
-3 730
-4 700

^ for math?

Can someone explain to me how curves on the SAT work?

I would guess that it works sort of like the AP tests, where they do brackets of certain groups and their raw scores, although that is a complete guess. I think for yesterday, the math will be a bad curve. Heres my guess:

Math: -1 780
-2 760
-3 750
-4 730

I could be wrong about the AP scale thing, its just a guess.

yeah, for math.

judging from the march test, math was a tad bit more difficult (march math was rediculously easy). So the margins should be slightly higher.
4 wrong from march was 690, so ideally it should be 700 on this one.

I wonder what CR looks like...

"Math: -1 780
-2 760
-3 750
-4 730"

So if you're one off of a perfect score on the math section, then you get a 780? What kind of curve is that?

Well, thats what is usually like. The curve isn't supposed to help if youre at the top.

When/how DOES the curve help you?

I believe that it helps when you start drifting down to -6 and -7 ish scores. Although, I must add, that I do not know this from personal experience. I just analyzed the blue book's charts.

what do you think the CR curve is gonna be like? i think i got 7 or 8 wrong... do you guys think i broke 700?
