Guess what colleges I got into!

Now that college admissions are wrapping up, for me they seem more and more to revolve around chance rather than actual level of competency. I didn't get into many of the schools I thought were matches and vice versa.

SAT: 2380
PSAT: 240
GPA: 3.9 (4.0 except Freshman)
APs:
Freshman: ES, HG, Psych, CS A, Calc BC
Sophomore: USH, Stats, Chinese
Junior: Chem, Bio, Spanish, Physics B
Senior: Micro, English Lang, Physics C Mech
All 5s (except senior of course)

CTY Multivar Calc, Linear Alg, Diff. Equations

SAT II: 760 Chem, 800 Math 2

Rank: top 1-5% of 500

ECs:
NHS (officer), Dwarf Fortress Club (Founder this year), Math Club (president), MUN (officer)
Band (2 years), 1 year in an adult band
Class VP 3 years
150+ hours volunteering, worked @ fast food last summer
few hours/week tutoring kids since Sophomore
won a regional science fair as a sophomore
programmed a game over the summer, never really got off the ground though
Asian Male (***)

(Note: I made the same thread a few weeks ago and said I was a Junior (lol) but not all the admissions had come in)

Schools: Dartmouth, UPenn, UCB, UCLA, Duke, JH, Cornell.

quote

Yeah, lol.

Your previous posts from two weeks ago (no SAT 2 yet, no Jr year AP scores, no NMF info w/a 240 PSAT…) and your profile listing your birthdate and age at 16 (won’t be 17 until September) make it clear that you are a current junior. It makes no sense to invent information for a chance thread.

Accepted: UPenn, Berkeley, UCLA,Duke, Johns Hopkins
Rejected: Dartmouth,Cornell?

And what could the Dwarf Fortress Club possibly be???

lol alame mom you know people can lie that they’re a different age and at a different grade than they are on the internet, mate…

I said I was a junior because I didn’t think people would try to chance a senior.

Yes, jameslangeftw, it is very clear that people on the internet can lie. Case in point.
