Guess what?!!! :)

I did not get the letter today. dammit

Neither did I. :-</p>

If my little theory is true, I am now officially rejected.
I am a loser! perhaps the biggest one ever.

I don't know. You can't read too much into it. Do you really think all the acceptances have been received? That's a lot..

me either but look what i read on nyu's board

Our notification letters are sent out in no particular order. Please be advised that not having received a letter yet is no indication of what your decision may be. We appreciate your patience while waiting to receive notification.

and then this....

As the admissions process is actually on-going for early decision applicants, we unfortunately do not have statistical information available yet about this year's early decision applicant pool.

so my guess is that they first sent out all of the automatic acceptance/rejection letters and now they are finalizing the remaining decisions.. im guess we'll hear next week

Oh ****. Hope it's not too close to Christmas.

So you're thinking that the 'maybe' group is being reviewed...or you think the group they hadn't gotten to yet is just now being finished?

Has anyone heard of any rejections? I sure haven't.

thanks...but...i lost my confidence now.
yes I do know that the "official" date is the 15th of December but when so so so many received acceptances already...I am afraid that...there are very little acceptances left...look just how many CC kids are accepted...nationwide? probably all.

my friend got rejected, and she got her letter a week ago

a week ago? last week tuesday? that's bit too early isn't it?
do you mean, like...on the 10th or 11th?
wow, that really does relieve me...
see, this is why I love English people.
they are mostly behind the play but surprise you with unexpectations.
by the way, i still didn't get your phone number...lolol jk :)

see that means that you are still i the running! my mom keeps on telling me that no news is good news so maybe we should all listen to that

Ack that stinks. Were her stats good or mediocre? Mine are extremely mediocre.

And tangerine, you're definitely right. The waiting is horrible though.

what are yours? i think mine are a tad bit above mediocre.. but not too much.. and what school did you apply to jackie?

it was the day of our euro hist test, so she told me weds which means she got the letter last tuesday. her stats were ok, 13 something SAT and her gpa was in the high 3's, she wasn't top ten tho, i'm guessing top 15-18% in my class maybe.

well i sent out a question on nyu's ed message board so hopefully they will answer the question

did she apply to Stern?

i didn't get a letter yet either
