Guess What...

...I've decided to attend USC! I went on a visit yesterday and loved everything about it. I paid my enrollment today and signed up for housing. I can't wait for next year.

Congratulations! Doesn't it feel good to finally decide on a place?

Congratulations! Hope you love it as much as my d does!

Congratulations!
i guess the Chem Dept or whoever was able to answer your questions
Come back and ask us if you have any other questions!!
What dorms did you request?
Did you see any of the hubbub surrounding the Spring Game?S says over 40,000 were there.

Thanks everybody. I requested to stay in Capstone. I did not get into the honors program, but did get into Capstone. When I was flying home, the plane went directly over the campus and I was able to see the stadium and I'll tell you, it was packed.

Congratulations! My son felt just like you...he loved it the first time he visited, and he also is looking forward to the Capstone program. In fact, he is at USC right now, taking his placement tests.

It must feel so nice to have made a decision! I'll be there in a week or two. Can't wait.

Are you going to be making your final decision on April 30, too?

You think I can get the money in May 1?

There has been so much posting lately about who is NOT going to USC, I thought I would add that my daughter has made a final decision and will be a Gamecock this fall with so many of you! Even though campus visits and communication from USC really sold her quite a while back, we really needed to see full financial aid packages to make the final decision. She is turning down Chapel Hill and is having a great time debating with her friends over who is the "Real Carolina!"

Congratulations northandsouth!
My d's boyfriend is a student at UNC-CH so we have some of those discussions here as well LOL
Personally, I think our mascot rules theirs! LOL

welcome to Gamecock country northandsouth!
Let us know if you need any more q's answered

Lets all try and meet at move in time in August!

Thanks Cathymee and PA Mom. Your insights have been so helpful throughout this process. I really appreciate your willingness to be information central to those of us with neverending questions. It will be fun to meet up at move in and put faces with screen names!

When Spurrier came to Carolina, he wanted to develop a rivalry with UNC. Now it appears they will be playing each other in football each year. That means that they're bound to go atleast 1-9.

We put the USC cling stickers on the cars yesterday! One went on the back of mine and another on back of S's car!!! He is so excited to have this decision behind him and now just can't wait to get there!!!!

It's hard to believe this is the last week of classes already!
Next week,finals begin.

no kidding...my S at UNC just sent me an IM with that same message....this year really flew by!

Ah ha! I have finally made up my mind and sent everything in, and it's not even May 1st yet! As everyone suspected, yes, I will be going to USC next year

What a relief! My niece visited USC for the first time, having already announced she was going there, sight unseen. She LOVED it ! Her impressions: everyone was really friendly, even to a non-southerner like her. Campus is huge, but very very pretty. The guys seem really "hot" although she admits it may be just because she's too used to the ones she's been seeing for the past 4 years. She says 5 points is terrific (whatever that is). The academics seemed better than she expected, and she felt like she was at home. I'm so glad for her !

Congratulations all you other USC'ers. Have a great freshman year.

And for those of you who thought the first year flew by, that's how I feel about our S, and he's graduating in May! Seems like just last month that we were shopping for sheets. 4 years ago. It's just too much to believe.

betterdays,

Hooray!!!
Better let Matt know you're on your way there!!! Are your parents happy as well??
Hayden..so happy your niece loved it there!!! 5 Points is the local restaurant/bar area.
