My faculty advisor is sick so I won't be able to get the rest of my advisor code until next week. I've gotten the first 2 numbers from my other advisor.

Will anything happen if try to guess it (possibly 100 attempts)?

Telebears implodes, melts through to the core of the earth, and all the hobos disappear from the area.

This is so nice, YMMD ;)

just go see your advisor and get the damn code.

how do u get the 1st 2 number?

The advisor gave him the first two numbers and was promptly shot thereafter. Dogglefox tried screaming Jack Bauer-style, but the advisor gave his last breath and died. A classic “Damn it” from Dogglefox resounded against the walls.

It’s like a 24 sub-plot

LMAO. People keep dying in this season right at the best time for terrorists and Russians.

When you double major (or at least when you do simultaneous degrees, I’m not sure 100% sure for double majors) you get an advisor in each department you’re majoring in. You’re required to see both so they each give you half of your adviser code.

Get it it from somebody else from your major… the numbers are the same for everyone… ^_^… I think… xD

Some people do this for all four numbers, so you should be ok. You want to make sure that you stay logged in the whole time (keep the same cookie) but you can guess your code as much as you want.

Thanks bsd. Got it after 20 tries because I’m a lucky mother****er.

Each person gets a unique code.

@dogglefox: Does that mean that you potentially took someone else’s unique advisor code haha? If so, that would suck for the student you accidentally took it from.

It means he guessed his own AC, you can’t steal someone’s AC. everyone has their own unique AC.

Oh I see, thanks for clarifying that anon5524485. My major has never had me needing advisor codes for classes so I wouldn’t know haha.
