<p>Hello everyone! I know that guests of the opposite gender are not allowed to stay overnight in your dorm, but are you able to have friends of the same gender spend a few nights in your dorm room if they are visiting from out of town? My friends and I are already planning visits to each other, so I'd really like to know :)!</p>

<p>Yep. Its easy to arrange. Just notify the appropriate RA and security guard in the dorms. Tell your guests to bring an inflatable cushion to sleep on because like all dorm rooms, the beds are only made for one! Or a sleeping bag to use on top of your roomates bed if he/she is gone for the weekend. Its not a problem.</p>
<p>You have to sign them in at the gate as they come on campus as well.</p>

<p>you may actually get away with having to sign them in at the gate. so long as you show the guard your Id and tell them that the guest is with you they wave you in usually. it’s not what they’re supposed to do, but that’s what most do anyways. also you can have your female friends on campus in your building sign in your female friends from outside of school as guests. that’s what most students do.</p>
