I'm an international student from india,
I'm currently a freshman in a college here, studying B.tech Mechatronics and i want to join MIT for my MS degree. I want some guidance regarding what other than a high GPA and a shiny GRE score is necessary to increase my chances. I've searched for mechatronics facilities in MIT, i didnt come across any masters plan however, an electronics degree would suffice my field of interest ( robotics, coding, automation) also, i came across the mechatronics research lab in MIT
Please help me. I am four years away so i want to be well prepared.
Thank you :)

Research or internship experience; outstanding letters of recommendation from professors who know you well.

Essentially, you should excel in academics in your field in particular. It’s not just about getting a high GPA, for example, it’s about taking and excelling in difficult, high-level courses.

Thanks molliebatmit, that was helpful
Will work on it, side by side keep track of what other applicants are up to.
