Guidance On What To Do Please!!

Okay so I took my first SAT in March as a Junior and received
Math:610
Reading:550
Writing:550
Essay: 10

So i let it settle and thought of it as practice. I really wished I would have studied as I took it again this October as a Senior and received.
Math:620
Reading:560
Writing:560
Essay: 9
Then Took the ACT and Received a
Reading:29
Math:25
Writing:29
Science:22
Composite: 26

My GPA: 3.9 unweighted 4.2 or 4.3 (Weighted I think?)

So I am asking do you think I should retake the SAT? or ACT? If i studied for a month and take it in like February? Do colleges look down upon those who take it more than 2 times for the SAT? I really want to go to USC but realize my scores are not that great. As it is crunch time with college applications can I send in my application and not enter my SAT scores and send them later if I received better ones?

According to the act - sat concordance table ur scores are about identical. 26 composite translates to 1170-1200 M+CR and ur at 1180. depends on how hard u wanna work really, I’ve heard the ACT is more coachable, but im sure if you work hard for the SAT u can get a good score jump as well esp for M+W. I jumped from 660-800 in math and 630-700 in writing, although my reading only went up 10 points to 650. Its personal preferance really but judging from your scores though, go for the ACT. Ur english scores are comparitively better in the ACT and all you gotta work on is math + science which you can easily memorise the facts for and work towards.
