I think I'm going to cut Providence from my list of schools (in favor of ones like Gettysburg, Villanova, and Loyola U of Maryland). Any real reason why Providence is better and I shouldn't? If not I'm just going to cross it off in a few days, I haven't really heard anything great about it

Hi
I would say its a personal decision. If you have done your homework then you will know which schools are better for you. My d would have loved to have got into Providence. She loved the school at first glance but did not have what she needed to get in. It does have a nice reputation and does have a really good track record for the number of students that graduate within 4 years. You might want to connect with some of the students that attend or go for a visit.

It depends. The other schools might be tougher to get into. Also, if you have good stats and finances are an issue, Providence has some very generous merit scholarships. Have heard from most students there that they love it. What school would you add to your list instead?
