Gustavus, Luther, or Morris??

Hello! I am a senior in high school in Minnesota and I am currently on my college search! My top choices are Gustavus Adolphus College, Luther College, and Univeristy of Minesota- Morris. I got a 27 on my ACTs and have higher than a 4.0 weighted GPA. I am a full IB diploma candidate. I do a ton of volunteering and extracurricular work. Does anyone have any info or experience with any of these colleges? What is the overall vibe of each? Also, from the info I included do you think I would be able to get into these colleges? Thanks so much!

Those are all good choices and you seem like a strong candidate. You can look on collegenavigator.gov to see the stats of admitted students. I know people who have gone to both Gustavus and Luther and loved them, and I have heard positive things about Morris. Good luck.

yes you’re a strong contender for these three colleges, but since you’re a full IB candidate, I’d add Macalester and St Olaf, plus Earlham. And why not step out of your region and apply to Roanoke in VA or to schools that especially value the IB?
UMN-Morris is the best value (a bargain, really). Luther is famous for its choirs. Gustavus Adolphus is not Norwegian but Swedish if that matters. :)
