<p>Yes, we talked about them at the audition,oh well they did stress there Liberal arts program as being a very important part of there department and I am more of a true conservatory kinda gal lol.</p>
<p>It’s finally here! My D is on her way to the University of Minnesota Guthrie callbacks for the weekend. She’s excited, I’m excited, Dad’s excited, everyone’s excited! Around 60 students have been called back. We thought all the auditioning was over with Unifieds. But here she goes again. :D</p>

<p>Enjoy the weekend!! UMn Theatre is a great place to be and was a great time in my life. I was just scanning old Rarig Center pics and production photos today for a couple of faculty celebrations that are going to happen in the next few months. Nostalgia is pretty thick today…</p>

<p>Well, my D had an awesome time this weekend. She can’t stop talking about the African dance class that she had yesterday. She loved it! U of Minn/Guthrie was first on her list before, and that choice has only been strengthened. Calls will go out some time next week, so here we go. Sigh . . .</p>

<p>so i got an email today from the director of the program today asking me to call his cell, being that they are very interested in me. I called, however my gpa is a 3.2 and my act score is 22 so he was very blunt when admitting that those grades and scores will make it hard for me to get admitted, but he said that he will not go down without a battle. I feel honored however terrified, being that i am sooo close to getting accepted, but yet so far…this is not making me feel too well. Initially I didnt apply, because i knew my grades would have been a problem, but after doing a walk in at the los angeles unifieds, I now see hope where there had been no hope before!</p>
<p>I don’t want get your hopes up but, my scores are much lower then yours and the Liberal Arts College has me on the wait list.</p>
