i am applying to vassar, but since it's 60/40 girls/guys i was just wondering what the guys are like at vassar. are there really any straight guys, or only just a few?

Well, i'm straight, and i'm applying ED II. I don't think there will be a shortage, honesly...

im a straight female, edI acceptee- apparently some people complain about shortage of straight guys. This complaint is around, but it's not the opinion of everyone at vassar. While at vassar they are accepting of homosexuality, it is not the majority. It's not as though there are going to be 3 straight guys in the class of 2009. lol.

i hope that helped. it may not have. obviously everything i say is hearsay- so take it with a grain of salt.

wow- im sorry that was so incoherant. lol. i was trying to gather my ideas and have them make sense- it obviously didnt work. sorry. :-P

im single and male Retro. :)

only on the vassar board would people introduce themseleves by stating their sexual preference! ahh what a cool school. :-)

well i applied RD with my gf (obviously straight) so it seems vassar attracts more than just homosexuals.

One of the commonest sexual preferences I've seen on applications is "Frequently."

don't worry - i spent an overnight there recently and there are plenty of cute straight guys

Well, that's gonna be the case in a lot of small liberal artsy colleges. Oberlin, Reed, Kenyon, Ohio Wesleyan, Vassar have their share of gay people.

I just went on a tour of Vassar and my tour guide was a cute, straight guy, and there seemed to be a lot more walking around.
