Hey, this a chance thread for a good friend of mine. No, it's not me, I go to Cornell and I am officially done with my chances. Well, here goes. Be honest please.

So, what are his chances for the following schools?
HYP ( he can dream, right?)
Penn SAS
Columbia College
Dartmouth
Cornell CALS
Brown
Duke
Vanderbilt
Notre Dame
UVA
UNC
Tufts
USC-Marshall
BC
Lehigh
W&M
And some safeties he didn't mention to me

Thanks a lot for your time and effort guys. This will mean a lot to him.

Those safeties he didn't mention to you are probably the most important schools on his list. Once he has one in the bag, he can go to town on his list and just apply away with wild abandon. Though he has a good chance a some of those schools on his list, none of the are sure things, especially in this climate. Also, does he have any financial need? Are his parents aware of college costs, and have an idea of what they are willing and able to pay? Will he qualify for financial aid? Does he need a financial safety? Does he need some schools where he has a shot a merit money (none on his list are likelies in terms of merit scholarships for him)?

I have awful news: there is no SAT test date in September. The only fall date is in October. You can either re-take the SAT I or take the Math SAT II but you can't do both.

I'll be brief... but my intuition is rather good in these cases:

Penn SAS - ?
Columbia College - no
Dartmouth - no
Cornell CALS - maybe
Brown - no
Duke - no
Vanderbilt - no
Notre Dame - no
UVA - maybe
UNC - ?
Tufts - likely not
USC-Marshall - likely not
BC - perhaps
Lehigh - yes
W&M - yes

Overall, this list does seem overly ambitious. Of course, this is not news to you... but be sure to tell your friend to really consider some of what he considers his "safety" schools.
