3 gals at Skidmore for every 2 guys. How does that work? Is it heaven or hell? Are the dudettes clawing to get the available dudes? Or is this a women seeking women scene? And the guys? Compared to other LAC's, the Thoroughbreds have a reputation of being less athletic and more artistic, and we all know what that means, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more. If you listen closely, I'm sure that you will hear, "I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK" during your next visit.

eph-head,
Do you mean there is a large “Rainbow” coalition at Skidmore. Would someone have to watch themselves more carefully in the showers?

Good grief. I haven’t heard this kind of immature and unenlightened commentary in years. If you want to know whether Skidmore has a higher than average gay or Lesbian population, why not just spit it out? I highly recommend that all homophobes just leave the LAC’s in peace and stick to fundamentalist institutions where the gay population cowers in the closet and the showers are safe havens for all.

I found some other sites that describe the social life at Skidmore and must admit that I was wrong. Given no fraternities, a"dry" campus, and a not particularly religious student body, it wasn’t obvious to me how the students would loosen up on a Friday night. I hadn’t considered that they might be a bunch of hippies.
