Guys, I need some help!!!!!!!

I haven't got any feedback from my previous thread. So I am posting again.

I am attending GA Tech and major in Business.
But I found out that I am more interested in political science.
So, I want to transfer to either Emory or UGA

Here is my stat,

HS
SAT I: 1400/1600, 2020/2400
SAT II: US 610/World 740/Math I 740
GPA: 3.7 Unweighted
Rank: 22/456
EXtraactivities: orchestra/few clubs/few academic awards

College
currently 3.0 If I get all As this semester, it will be about 3.3
no club
decent recommendation
Good reason to transfer(like mentioned above, "changing major")

Would I have chance at those schools?
or
Should I wait another semester after I raise my GPA up?

P.S. I am a Georgian resdient and Korean male.

Really hard to say, imo. I think GaTech is known for tough grading, so your GPA is not bad. Your reasons are sound, as you say. You could give it a try now and you could also take more Econ courses, which would relate well to Poli Sci, which might enhance your app if you need to wait another term.

Thanks, any other opinions?
