Guys I think I need help!

First, I applied ea to uconn and really hoped to get accepted, but i'm starting to believe that not recieving any kind of mail is bad news.

Second I think i made a mistake on my app by applying for ACES, because i'm sure that i want to do engineering but i'm just not fixed on one choice. I figured that ACES would help me decide later on, but i have begun to think that this mistake has cost me a grave price. What are your thoughts do you think this mistake could cost me?
