Guys I'm getting really worried...not sure if I'll make it anymore

<p>My application was complete on 11/06 and I still haven't received a decision so I'm thinking maybe a deferral.</p>

<p>Asian Male
Instate Feeder School
UM GPA: 3.7 UW
ACT: 35
SAT II's: like perfect
Courseload: hardest in school's HISTORY(10 AP's plus 2 college math classes)
Awards: NMSF, AP Scholar with Distinction, TASP, AIME, etc.
Essays: sweet(very diverse background)
Recs: awesome</p>

<p>Basically, I think they're automatically deferring everyone with an unweighted GPA like mine. All that hard work in high school means **** to them. A URM got in from my school with like a 25 ACT/3.5 GPA...:(:(</p>

<p>Dude, get a ****ing hold of yourself. It's been less than a month. It took them over 5 months to get back to me last year (I wasn't even deferred and ended up getting into Honors.)</p>

<p>You're gonna get it in, probably to the honors program. Chill, man. It's senior year: relax.</p>

<p>haha i kind of know EAD, and i thought he was pretty confident in his stats like as you can tell obviously. now, i dont think hes like the kind of person who would post this just to fish for compliments and oohs and aahs but it could come off that way...but again, youre in, and like if you dont get in to michigan, the worst that will happen is that you get into whatever ivy you ED'd to right?! haha good luck with whatever happens</p>

<p>did u finish ur app on the 6th or was everything in by then?</p>

<p>if you finished the app by the sixth, its not surprising you haven't heard yet, but if you finished it earlier and everything was in by the 6th (as indicated by Wolverine Access)...well...you're in the same boat as me.</p>

<p>Chill, my friend who finished her app 9/20 (or something cloose to that), still hasn't recieved a decision either (and she has a 30/31 with a 3.9 UM and instate o.O)</p>

<p>hey Genghis Khan, do you think NMSF might be a small hook? because a lot of schools try to boost their numbers by enrolling these students. Although I'm sure Michigan is above boosting its stats...</p>

<p>listen I had a 1700 SAT/23 ACT with a 3.7 GPA and I got in.......i also had amazing essays though</p>

<p>Having a completed application on October 22 last year, I heard back the first week of January. I wouldn't worry at all right now.</p>

<p>4.0 Umich GPA, 33 ACT, 2190 SAT, great recs, high school that Michigan loves, etc.</p>
