I think you can…
My friend repeated two or three years at a HADES and got in to an HYP. (He’s international, though)

And to scales,
I honestly have no idea how you got a 95+ in math on the SSAT.

of repeating applicants are clearly not shown in the stats.

Plus, you have to think about WHO these people are. Who would apply as a 10th grader? Possibly internationals and those who didn’t get accepted the first time they tried. Who would apply as a senior? Mainly sports recruits…
And what’s your purpose of posting this thread…

I posted this thread to clear the misconception that applying to a higher grade lowers your chances? And what’s your purpose of throwing immature attacks at me on my thread? ******bag

If you are applying to repeat 11th or 10th grade then it helps the most. 11th grade is the hardest year to gain admission to any of the top tier school since they have to least openings, Those openings are strictly reserved for the most impressive students in the applicant pool. At the school i attend a good percentage of the 11th graders are repeat student. Unless you are positive that you will stand out even more than average or have some crazy impressive hook you should highly consider repeating 10th grade since they accept more kids and you wouldn’t exactly have to stand out as much in the applicant pool ( that being extremely relative). Hope this helps!
